What are the race categories and age restrictions?

How is age determined?
Age categories are determined by the participant’s age as of event day, 17 November 2024.
When is the entry deadline?
Registration closing date is 12 November 2024, or when the race reaches maximum capacity, whichever comes first.
Please note that for any entries received after 30 October 2024, 11.59pm, there will be a separate arrangement for your Run Entry Pack Collection. More information will be shared soon.
I am unable to race. Can I get a refund?
No, entries are strictly non-refundable once confirmed.
Can I sign-up on race morning?
There are absolutely NO onsite registrations taken on race day.
Can I transfer my entry to another person if I choose not to race?
Individual race entries are non-transferable. Any person doing so may be subject to disqualification, at the discretion of the Event Organiser. The Organisers reserve the right to exclude both parties from future events.
What if it rains or there is inclement weather on race morning?
In the event of light to moderate rain, and the absence of any lightning, the race will continue as planned. If there is lightning in the area, and with safety as our first consideration, the race may be modified accordingly. The Race Director will make the call on how to proceed.
Are prams/strollers/kick scooters allowed?
Yes, prams, strollers, kick scooters and strider bikes (no paddles) are allowed for children under 6 years old and only for the Fun Walk.
I ordered the wrong T-shirt size. Can I exchange?
Sorry, no exchange allowed.
Who can join for the 3.5km Walk – Group?
The 3.5KM Fun Walk – Group must consist of a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 people.
The group must consist of at least 1 Adult (18 years old and above).
You may join with your family members or friends.
Each group is fixed at a total of 6 pax.
During the initial registration, 1 adult and 1 child must be registered to create the group. Subsequently, you may add another adult or child to the group, up to a maximum of 6 pax. The final price for the group will be calculated on the check out page.
Note: You will only need to pay for the number of entries you have submitted.
Example:
During Group Creation: 1 Adult and 1 Child registers
Price at check out: $40 + $25 = $65
Subsequently, adding another 2 adult and 1 Child to the group
Price at check out: $40 +$40 + $25 = $105
Who can join the 3.5km Fun Walk – Individual?
Adults (18 years old and above) can register a single entry for the 3.5km Walk.
Children (17 years old and below) are not permitted to enter this race category as an individual.
Can I join the 3.5km Fun Walk with my friends?
Yes! You may form a group of up to 6 pax!
Why can’t I register a child for the 3.5km Fun Walk – Individual?
Children (17 years old and below) are not permitted to enter this race category as an individual. This is to ensure that there will be a responsible adult with the child during the race.
They may be registered together with an adult using the 3.5km Fun Walk – Group.
I signed up for the Fun Walk group and want to add 1 adult and 1 child, but the price isn’t updating correctly. Why?
The first participant in the Fun Walk must always be an adult. To see the correct pricing, make sure you’ve selected the child option for the second participant and entered the child’s Date of Birth (DOB). The price will update accordingly once these details are filled in.
10KM – Team of 4 prize category
10KM Team of 4 must consist of 4 pax to qualify for team ranking. If a team is incomplete, the registered participant will only be eligible for individual ranking.
How do I collect my run entry pack?
Run Entry Pack Collection dates will be on Friday 1 & Saturday 2 November 2024 at Central Fountain Square @ Clarke Quay. Full details will be released soon.

What is in my race pack?
Your race pack consists of a race number bib with timing chip and safety pins, along with a bag deposit tag. You will also receive any race goodies that you selected during registration.
Where do I get my timing chip?
Your timing chip will be stuck to the back of your race number bib.
Where do I pin my race number bib?
You must secure your race number bib on the front of your running top. You can use the safety pins included in your race pack, or a race belt to hold the race bib in place.
When is the POSB PAssion Run for Kids happening?
Sunday 17 November 2024.
Where will the POSB PAssion Run for Kids be held this year?
The event will be at The Promontory @ Marina Bay.

Where can I leave my things?
We offer a Bag Deposit service for you to store your belongings during the race. This service is conveniently located near the race area. Do not bring any valuables, the Organisers do not take any responsibility for lost items.
Is there a cut off time?
Yes, there will be a cut off time for the 10KM. Participants in the 10km race must be able to finish within 1 hour and 40 minutes (average pace of 6km/h or 10 minutes per kilometre). Cut-off points will be enforced at the 4km and 7km marks.
There will be pacers on the race route with you to maintain and set the desired running pace throughout the race.
Is there a water station on the course?
Yes, we have a water station on the run course for the 5km and 10km distances.
Can I run without a shirt?
No, you must wear a shirt covering your torso at all times.
Can I run barefoot?
Barefoot running is not allowed, shoes must be worn at all times during the race.
Do I need to wear my race bib during the race?
Runners must wear their race bib clearly visible at the front of their apparel at all times. The race bib also serves as your timing chip for this race.
What do I do with my timing chip when the race is over?
The timing chips are disposable, you have the option to either dispose of the race bib in the provided bin after the race or keep it as a souvenir to take home!
Where and when is the awards ceremony?
Trophies will be presented to the top 3 male and female placegetters in each race (excluding 3.5km Fun Walk) at the conclusion of each race at the event venue. Award times will be published in the Runners’ Guide.
Do I receive a medal pin at the finish line?
Yes! Every participant completing the 10km, 5km, 1.2km, and 800m races will be awarded a medal pin upon crossing the finish line.
In the interest of sustainability, during registration, you will have the option to opt-out from receiving a medal pin.
There is no medal pin for 3.5km Fun Walk.
Where and when can I see my results?
Live preliminary results will be available via the “Results” page of the event website immediately after you cross the finish line.
Official times will be posted on the Race Results page within 48 hours after the event.
Who can apply for Complimentary Personal Accident Protect V?
Both the applicant and/or insured must be Singapore Residents. Singapore Resident means Singapore citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident, or holder of a valid Work Permit, Employment Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass, Dependant’s Pass, or S Pass issued by the authorities in Singapore.
Applicant must be aged 18 years old and above.
Insured must be aged between 1 month old and 65 years old (both age inclusive).
What is the difference between Complimentary Personal Accident Protect V and Complimentary Personal Accident Protect Basic?
Both policies offer the same benefits and sum insured, however the eligibility criteria, period of coverage, and policy application process differs:

What happens if I suffer an injury on the race day (i.e. 17 November 2024)? Are both policies claimable?
If you suffer an injury that results in hospitalisation, please submit your claim under both policies.
Does this policy provide cover for any illness?
No, this is a personal accident policy that covers you for accidental injury.
Accidental injury means a bodily injury resulting from an accident caused by a sudden, unforeseen and fortuitous event.
Is the policy coverage applicable even when I am overseas?
Yes, you will be covered as long as the policy remains active, and you continue to meet the eligibility criteria.
Does this policy cover my child during National Service?
No, this policy does not cover any events arising from National Service.
Does this policy pay over and above any other insurance coverage?
The Accidental Death Benefit, Permanent Disability Benefit, and the Daily Hospital Cash Benefit are payable in addition to any other insurance coverage.
Are there any other situations where the benefits will not be payable?
These are stated under the General Exclusions section in the policy wording. Below are some key exclusions:
• Pre-existing medical conditions
• Deliberately self-inflicted injury, suicide or, criminal or illegal act
• Unlawful acts or wilful exposure to unnecessary danger (such as jaywalking or speeding) except in an attempt to save human life
• Injury sustained by the insured person while under the influence of alcohol or any drugs
• Air travel except as a passenger in a fully licensed passenger carrying aircraft
• Hazardous sports or activities involving parachuting, skydiving, hang gliding, ballooning, any kind of race (other than on foot or swimming) or trial of speed or reliability, potholing, mountaineering or rock climbing

What circumstances will trigger the policy to be automatically cancelled?
The policy will be cancelled automatically:
• When 100% of the Accidental Permanent Disability Benefit has been paid
• When you or the insured ceases to be a Singapore Resident
• Upon death of insured

In addition to completing the claim form, the following additional supporting documents may also be required based on the type of claim you are submitting.
